The Needleton trail to the Chicago Basin is accessed by taking the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad to the trailhead. Riding the coal fired steam locomotive through beautiful mountain scenery in open compartments is quite a cool experience. This photo is of the train stopped at a water station a few miles before the trailhead.
