Lagavulin distillery on the island of Islay (pronounced eye-la). Driving along the southern coast from Port Ellen you pass Laphroaig, Lagavulin and finally reach Ardbeg - each distillery more picturesque than the last. This is really a magical stretch of coastline. And did I mention the whisky is magnificent?
