The view inside Deacon Brodie's on a typical winter night. Although right on the Royal Mile, this is one of my favorite pubs in the city. Very cozy, good location and friendly atmosphere. It was also named after the 18th Century man who was the inspiration for the story 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' - Respected Deacon by day and leader of a group of robbers by night. He was later hanged for his crimes.
