We were about to leave Wild Life Road and go to North Platte for breakfast when Cheryl hollered "Stop the bus! Back it up!" She thought she had seen eagles landing in the treetops.

We got out the binoculars and scanned the trees for birds. Here we found a pair of Great Blue Herons minding their nest. You can see the second nest below and to the right of the one with the pair. The second pair returned to that nest after a few minutes.
