After brunch we set out on a mission to explore all of the back roads that were near the river between North Platte and Hershey.

This was just about the most startling discovery of the trip. We were sure that we had found a field of Canada and Snow geese. It felt like about 5 minutes that we glassed this field before we realized that NOTHING WAS MOVING! These were all decoys or accurate models scattered out in a random line across this farm field! Some were even mounted on thin poles in pre-landing flight positions!
