Welcome to a gallery of summer flowers. I am a photographer and not a Botanist so there may be inaccuracies in identification. I have used several Colorado Wildflower books to help me identify most of the flowers. I greatly enjoyed the multitude of flowers with which we were blessed this year. I hope you enjoy looking at them through my eyes as much as I enjoyed recording them.

The first flower of the year in this area is the American Pasqueflower which is in the Buttercup Family. These are in our "back yard" at 9,000 feet. It is the true announcement of the arrival of spring!
